So here I am... came calling March 28, 2000 at 11:48PM. (No, I couldn't wait another 10 minutes for those inquiring.) It was a most exciting moment at Tisch Hospital in New York City. Tipped the scales at 5 lbs. 15 oz. ( 2.7 kgs) and measured 19.5 inches ( 49.5 cms.) Very cute!
Although I was a tiny baby, I am growing fast with the nutritional aid and help of my mother. I better grow fast, because Zack has been trying to play with me, and he is getting impatient! Anyway, people seem to pay more attention to Zack at this point, I guess because he is bigger than I am, and able to turn more tricks. I just kind of lie there looking cute, spitting up, sleeping, or doing those other sweet-smelling things we do.
As for the bris, below is a family shot - daddy is holding Zachary; then grandma, baby, and mommy are holding me; and all the way on the right is grandpa. Basically the mohel did his duty, the job had been done, and everyone was toasting to my success. Now, although some of you missed the bris, let me tell you it was a pretty good party. To be honest, all I can remember with my hangover, was someone stuffing some cheap, kosher wine in my mouth with the aid of a rolled up gauze pad! There was a lot of noise, people and food (as with all Jewish get-togethers) and I even got gifts for behaving like a soldier during the ceremony.
Here are a few more mugshots of the clan:
Since then, I have been trying to incorporate myself painlessly and quietly into my new home and family. I love my big brother Zachary; he's the best. He loved all the presents I got him, and I loved all mine. As for all the visitors and company we have had at our house from the start of this adventure, everyone has been very supportive, generous and helpful. Thanks for pitching in so much for my mommy and daddy. I know they are very grateful, because they don't stop talking about it, and people just seem to keep coming over.
Love to you all, and a big, slobbery kiss, Joey

I have been listening over and over to various reasons and arguments, and I have already watched my fair share of games with the people that matter most - you know who you are - and frankly I'm tired of it! What do you, THE VISITORS think? Mets Yankees
